Can I see some samples of paper types?
Let us know what paper samples you would like to see and we will despatch for you. We can advise on suitable paper types to suit your print and your budget.
Can you colour match to something I've already had printed?
Yes! If you supply us with a sample of your printed work or have colour refs we can advise how it will look. Please be aware colours vary depending on paper types. If in doubt - please chat to us.
What are the delivery charges?
We use a next day courier service for prompt delivery. Charges are based on weight of the goods delivered, an indication will be detailed in your quote.
How long will my quote be valid for?
Print quotes are valid for 30 days.
How do I set up an account with shropshire printing?
Please download a form, complete and return to us, either by fax or post. The link is at the bottom of every page.
How long will it take to print my project?
Most print will take 7 to 10 working days from approval of artwork. We are able to turn jobs around quicker in some circumstances - please advise if you require a job urgently and we'll do what we can. Large or UV and gloss laminated jobs can take a little longer to print . We'll give you a print delivery date as soon as possible.
How do I send you my artwork?
We accept artwork in the following formats:
- On a CD or DVD
- If artwork is 10MB or less please email to studio@shropshireprinting.co.uk
- FTP to our server please email or call first for correct log in details

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cheques (payable to Shropshire Printing) and payment by BACS. Our payment terms for account customers are 30 days net of invoice date. Non account customers require payment in full prior to despatch.
Can you design my project?
Yes we can! We offer a full design and artwork service at Shropshire Printing.
Our sister company offer a comprehensive range of marketing services - marketing consultancy, pr (public relations), product packaging, creative design and photography - please ask for details.
Do you offer CD & DVD duplication?
Yes. Please ask for further details of CD/DVD duplication and printing.
What is single/spot colour printing?
PANTONE ® or Spot colour inks are specific formulations that are printed alone. The range of available spot colour inks, much like paint, is nearly unlimited. There is a wider and more varied range colours than produced by four-colour (CMYK) process. Spot colour inks print a massive range of colours from fluorescent greens to subtle pastels and oranges to metallic silvers, golds & other finishes.
If you require single / spot colour printing please specify the PANTONE ® colour reference.
How do I know if my print will attract VAT?
Not all print jobs attract VAT, many leaflets for example are zero rated. HMRC publish a leaflet to help - Notice 701/10
VAT is chargeable at standard rate for printed business stationery.
What's the difference between Litho and Digital Printing?
Digital print offers a cost effective short run solution - it is easier to personalise each leaflet/mailer - this offers the advantage of reduced turn round times for quick-run jobs. Digital print is used in conjunction with Litho print to create custom Direct mailing solutions.
Litho print offers an even more superior quality print - especially with colour. Litho print is especially suitable for long-run jobs where the highest quality printing is required. These days, digital printing is also more than adequate for these tasks.
Can you despatch to multiple sites?
Yes. Just let us know where and how many and we'll sort out the rest.
Do you offer Direct Mailing?
Yes. We can provide personalisation service for any size of project. Please talk to us about personalised print solutions and despatch.
Can you print big panels?
Yes we can offer a Large Format print service mounted onto foamex board or unmounted. We can print with UV resistant inks for outdoor use.
Can you print on Recycled paper?
Yes! We can print onto a wide range of recycled paper and source FSC certified print that originates from FSC certified sources.
I'm not in Shropshire - can you quote for my print?
Of course - we're called Shropshire Printing as we are based in Jackfield, Shropshire and we liked the name.
Do you hold print in stock that can be called off?
Yes - we can arrange stock to be kept safely and delivered to your premises WHEN and WHERE you need it. Please ask us about print stock management options.
