Printed folder base stock is 350gsm silk with a variety of finishes to help enhance your document, but we do have a number of thicker paper stocks available. Most of our precut folder templates have business card slits for easy insertions of your business card.
We have 21 popular printed folder shapes in a range of capacities – see 3 images right (each with 9 x shapes). There’s no extra costs for cutting tools when you select one of these folders – saving you hundreds of pounds. Get in touch before you start designing, and we can forward you an artwork template.

Can you supply a design template to help me design my folder?
Yes – let us know which folder size you would like, capacity, number of pockets etc and we’ll send you a template. As you will be using one of our standard products – there’s no costly extras for cutting tools. Although, we can print bespoke shapes too.
Is an A4 folder A4 in size?
No – An A4 folder is designed to fit documents of that size in
So an A5 folder is designed to fit documents sized A5 or smaller and an A4 folder is designed to fit documents sized A4 or smaller.
What lamination finishes are available on printed folders?
- Matt laminated printed folders provide an elegant soft finish for your folder design, whilst helping to protect against scratches and scuffs.
- Gloss laminated printed folders provide a high shine finish, reflecting light and helping make colour and design zing off the page. Deeper, more vibrant colours make this finish ideal for bright environment.
- Using Spot UV on your folder you can highlight images, logos or text with the shiny clear UV coating. You can also use spot UV effectively by printing text or a logo in the clear spot UV varnish overprinting onto a matt laminate.
- Logo or text can also be added using a Foil printed finish – lifting the appearance of any printed presentation folder.
How are Interlocking presentation folders supplied?
After printing your folders, they are creased so they can be folded to finished position easily and assembled immediately before use.
What is the usual lead time for printed presentation folders?
Typically, it takes a full week from final approval of artwork to print.
However, additional finishes can push that lead time back a little.
Any delays in getting artwork print ready can also impact on delivery time so we would always advise you allocate a little more time for delivery of your printed folders.
Do your printed folders come with slots for business cards?
The short answer is yes, but please double check if they are important to you. We can print many of the folder templates with or without business card slots.
Is VAT chargeable on Printed Folders?
Yes – Folders are standard rated so we charge VAT on the print invoice.
